Abstract

Finitaryrandominterlacements(FRI)isaPoissonpointprocessofgeometricallykilledrandomwalksonZ^d,withd≥3.Aparameteru0modulatestheintensityofthepointprocess,whileT0istheexpectedpathlength.Themodelhasgainedattentionbecause,althoughitlacksglobalmonotonicityonT,FRI(u,T)exhibitsaphasetransition.Inthesupercriticalregime,FRI(u,T)hasauniqueinfiniteclusteronwhichweconsideritschemicaldistance(orgraphdistance).Thistalkfocusesontheassociatedtimeconstant.Thetimeconstantisanormalizedlimitofthechemicaldistancebetweentheoriginandasequenceofverticesgrowinginafixeddirection,definingadeterministicnorm.Ourmainresultisitscontinuity(asafunctionoftheparametersuandT).

SaraíHernández-Torres于UniversityofBritishColumbia(UBC)获得博士学位，师从OmerAngel与MartinBarlow，现在以色列理工学院（Technion–IsraelInstituteofTechnology）担任博士后研究人员，并将于年夏季开始赴墨西哥国立自治大学(UNAM)任教。
